Messages and Bulletin Board

The messages module allows publishing announcements to the worshipping public. Announcements are displayed in a sequence (Carousel) or as a running news ticker at the bottom of the screen, according to settings.

Creating a New Message​

  1. Navigate to the Messages screen.
  2. Click Create New Message.
  3. Fill in the following details:
    • Message Title: Will be displayed prominently at the top of the announcement.
    • Message Content: Free text. You can use emoji.
    • Start and End Date: (Optional) Date range during which the message will be displayed. If not set, the message will display until manually removed.
    • Display Type:
      • Normal: Full announcement on screen.
      • Flash: Running line at the bottom of the screen ("ticker").
  4. Click Save and Publish.

Removing a Message​

You can temporarily remove a message by turning off the toggle in the status column, or delete it permanently using the delete button.
