General Messages

The messaging system allows displaying important information to worshippers on the screens. You can set messages to appear as running text (ticker) or as fixed messages in the center of the screen.

Message Types​

  1. Ticker Message: Text that scrolls at the bottom of the screen. Suitable for short messages and ongoing updates.
  2. Main Message (Modal/Alert): Large message that captures attention.
  3. Slide Message: Message that integrates into the slide rotation (on supporting screens).

Creating a New Message​

  1. In the sidebar, click on "General Messages".
  2. Click the "Add Message" button.
  3. Fill in the message details:
    • Message Content: The text to be displayed.
    • Urgency Level: Normal / Urgent (may affect message color, for example red for urgent).
    • Expiration Date: (Optional) When the message will automatically stop appearing. This is useful for messages about specific events.
    • Screens: Choose which screens will display the message (or "All Screens").
  4. Click "Save".

Managing Active Messages​

On the messages screen, you can see the list of currently active messages.

  • Temporary Disable: You can turn a message "inactive" without deleting it, using the toggle button.
  • Edit: Change the text or settings of an existing message.
  • Delete: Permanently remove the message.
Tip

It's recommended to set an expiration date for messages about celebrations or one-time events, so they don't remain on screen after the event has passed.
