Daily Times (Halachic Times - Zmanim)

The system automatically calculates and displays daily times (sunrise, latest Shema time, sunset, etc.) based on synagogue location and the Hebrew date.

Setting Location

For times to be accurate, you must set the synagogue address:

  1. Go to the "Synagogue Details" page.
  2. Verify the address is updated and accurate.
  3. The system uses the address coordinates (latitude/longitude) to calculate times.

Selecting Times for Display

You can choose which halachic methods will be displayed on screen:

  1. Go to "Zmanim" (or time settings).
  2. Mark the desired methods for each time, for example:
    • Dawn (Alot Hashachar): 72 minutes / 90 minutes.
    • Latest Shema Time: Magen Avraham / GR"A.
    • Plag Hamincha.
    • Nightfall (Tzet Hakochavim): Regular / Rabbeinu Tam.
  3. Save changes.

Screen Display

On the synagogue screen, times will usually be displayed in a side column or at the bottom, according to the chosen design. Times are automatically updated every day.

Daylight Saving Time

The system automatically updates during the transition between daylight saving time and standard time according to operating system settings and geographic area.
