Display App Installation

The "Smart Synagogue" app (Tfila) is designed for Android TV devices and Android-based streamers. It displays prayer times, messages, and memorials in a format adapted for large screens.

Installation and Pairing Steps​

1. TV Installation​

  1. Open the app store (Google Play Store) on the TV.
  2. Search for the "Tfila Board" app or download the latest APK file from the management site.
  3. Install and launch the app.

2. Get Connection Code​

On first launch, the app will display a 6-digit pairing code (for example: AB-12-CD). Code meaning: The screen is ready to connect but not yet associated with a synagogue.

3. Pairing in Management System​

  1. Log into the management interface on computer or phone.
  2. Go to the Screens or Devices tab.
  3. Click + Add New Screen.
  4. Enter a name for the screen (for example "Main Lobby") and the code that appeared on the TV.
  5. Click Connect Screen.

4. Completion​

Within a few seconds, the TV screen will update and display the prayer board associated with your synagogue.

Note

The app is designed to run 24/7. It's recommended to disable "Power Saving" (Sleep Mode) on the TV to prevent automatic shutdown.
