Display App (Tfila)

The system works in conjunction with a dedicated Android application (Tfila App) installed on smart screens or streamers (Android TV) in the synagogue.

Installation and Initial Connection

  1. App Installation: Install the app's APK file on the device (you can get a download link from the system administrator).
  2. App Launch: During first launch, a unique identification code (Device ID/Pairing Code) will appear on the screen.
  3. System Pairing:
    • Log into the management interface in the browser.
    • Go to the "Device Management" page.
    • Click "Add Device".
    • Enter the identification code displayed on the TV screen and give the device a name (for example: "Main Screen", "Entrance Screen").
    • Click "Save".
    • The screen will automatically update and display your synagogue's content.

Screen Display Settings

Through the management interface in the "Device Settings" tab, you can control how information is displayed:

Display Modes

  • Prayer Times: Classic display of prayer list and daily times.
  • Messages Only: Display announcements in full screen.
  • Times + Messages: Combination of times and message ticker at bottom.

Customization

  • Font Size: Enlarge/reduce for comfortable reading.
  • Theme: Choose between light and dark mode (or automatic switching).
  • Auto Scroll: If there are more prayers than fit on one screen, you can enable slow scrolling.

Common Troubleshooting

  • Screen not updating: Verify the device is connected to the internet. Try clicking the "Refresh Data" button in the management interface for the specific screen.
  • App stuck: You can send a "Reboot" command to the device through the management interface, or physically disconnect and reconnect the power.
