Display App (Tfila)
The system works in conjunction with a dedicated Android application (Tfila App) installed on smart screens or streamers (Android TV) in the synagogue.
Installation and Initial Connection
- App Installation: Install the app's APK file on the device (you can get a download link from the system administrator).
- App Launch: During first launch, a unique identification code (Device ID/Pairing Code) will appear on the screen.
- System Pairing:
- Log into the management interface in the browser.
- Go to the "Device Management" page.
- Click "Add Device".
- Enter the identification code displayed on the TV screen and give the device a name (for example: "Main Screen", "Entrance Screen").
- Click "Save".
- The screen will automatically update and display your synagogue's content.
Screen Display Settings
Through the management interface in the "Device Settings" tab, you can control how information is displayed:
Display Modes
- Prayer Times: Classic display of prayer list and daily times.
- Messages Only: Display announcements in full screen.
- Times + Messages: Combination of times and message ticker at bottom.
Customization
- Font Size: Enlarge/reduce for comfortable reading.
- Theme: Choose between light and dark mode (or automatic switching).
- Auto Scroll: If there are more prayers than fit on one screen, you can enable slow scrolling.
Common Troubleshooting
- Screen not updating: Verify the device is connected to the internet. Try clicking the "Refresh Data" button in the management interface for the specific screen.
- App stuck: You can send a "Reboot" command to the device through the management interface, or physically disconnect and reconnect the power.
