System Settings
The system settings page centralizes general configuration for your synagogue.
Backups
The system performs automatic backups of all data. You can also create a manual backup:
- Navigate to System Settings → Backups.
- Click Create Backup Now.
- The backup will be saved and appear in the backup list.
Restoring from Backup
- Select a backup from the list.
- Click Restore and confirm.
- The system will return to the state at the time of the backup.
Email Settings
To configure automatic email sending (reports, alerts):
- Navigate to Settings → Email.
- Enter:
- SMTP server — Mail server address.
- Port — Connection port (typically 587 or 465).
- Username and password — Login credentials.
- Sender address — The email address that will appear as the sender.
- Click Save then Send Test Message to verify.
SMS Settings
To send text messages to congregants:
- Navigate to Settings → SMS.
- Configure the SMS provider (Twilio, MessageBird, etc.):
- Account ID
- API Key
- Sender number
- Save and send a test message.
Webhooks
You can configure webhooks to receive updates from external systems:
- Navigate to Settings → Webhooks.
- Click Add Webhook.
- Enter:
- URL — The address that will receive the notifications.
- Events — Which events will trigger the webhook.
- Save — you can test using Send Test.
System Configuration
Additional general settings:
- Timezone — Default: Jerusalem.
- Interface language — Hebrew (default).
- Performance settings — Cache management and advanced features.
