Prayer Times Management

This module allows setting prayer times (Shacharit, Mincha, Maariv) that will be displayed on synagogue screens. The system supports fixed times and dynamically calculated times based on daily times (for example: sunrise, sunset).

Supported Time Types​

  • Fixed Time: Known hour and minute (for example: 07:00).
  • Relative Time (Zmanim): Time calculated according to synagogue location (for example: 20 minutes before sunset).

Adding a New Prayer​

  1. Enter the Prayer Times tab in the main menu.
  2. Select the prayer type (weekday / Shabbat / holiday).
  3. Click the + Add Prayer Time button.
  4. In the window that opens:
    • Prayer Name: (Optional) Free text, for example "Workers Minyan".
    • Prayer Type: Shacharit / Mincha / Maariv.
    • Time Type: Choose "Fixed Time" or "By Daily Times".
    • Time/Calculation: Enter the time or formula (for example: "Candle Lighting" + 0 minutes).
  5. Click Save.

Editing and Deleting​

  • To edit an existing time, click the pencil icon in the desired row.
  • To delete a time, click the trash icon and confirm the deletion. Note: Changes are automatically updated on screens within one minute.
