Alert Rules

The alert rules module lets you define conditions under which the system sends automatic alerts — for example, when a device disconnects or when CPU temperature is too high.

Creating an Alert Rule

  1. Navigate to Alert Rules in the menu.
  2. Click Create New Rule (or choose from a ready-made template).
  3. Configure:
    • Rule Name — a clear description (e.g., "Device disconnected for over 10 minutes").
    • Trigger Condition — metric and threshold (CPU, memory, disconnect time, etc.).
    • Alert Severity — low, medium, high, critical.
    • Action — send a notification, email, or execute a command.
  4. Click Save.

Ready-Made Templates

The system includes built-in templates for common scenarios:

  • Device Disconnect — alert when a device stops reporting.
  • CPU Overload — CPU above 90%.
  • Memory Full — usage above 85%.
  • Network Disconnect — connectivity issue.

Click Load Template to choose a template and customize it.

Managing Triggered Alerts

On the Triggered Alerts page you can view all generated alerts:

  • Acknowledge — mark an alert as handled.
  • Close — close a resolved alert.
  • Manual Check — run a specific rule check now.
  • Send Test — send a test alert to verify the notification channel is working.

Metrics

On the Metrics page you can view the latest values for all monitored metrics (CPU, memory, network, etc.) per device — helping you set informed alert thresholds.
